BLONDIE CAPITAL 8

A stone's throw from Parc Monceau, Blondie has opened its second location on the ground floor of the Capital 8 building.
The 235 m² space, spanning two half-levels, is designed as a natural extension of the first Blondie location—combining urban openness with controlled interiority.

A lively façade, a direct link to the outside environment.

With a height of over six meters, the upper room opens widely onto the city.
The curved bay window becomes a truly active surface: it captures light, structures the space, and redefines the relationship with the outside world.
A monumental bench follows this curve, accompanying the flow of people and transforming the façade into a place of use.
Outward-facing high tables extend this dynamic and affirm the café as an open, legible, and lively space in constant dialogue with its urban environment.

A clear and distinctive centrepiece

The project is organized around strong central elements that are both functional and symbolic.
The 7-meter-long counter structures the upper room and is visually consistent with the first Blondie, backed by a composition of backlit menu boards.
In the center, a green bench island incorporates a Blondie light totem in varnished raw steel.
A visual landmark, a point of tension and orientation, it articulates the circulation, uses, and brand identity at the heart of the space.

A harmonious continuity between the two levels.

Downstairs, the lower room offers a more intimate interpretation of the project, without ever disrupting the overall coherence.
The lower ceiling height and transom windows create a more subdued atmosphere, conducive to lingering.
The benches feature the same design as in the upper room, ensuring clear formal continuity.
The wooden wall paneling, contrasting light blue tiles, and ceiling punctuated by recessed LED strips introduce a variation in scale and material, while maintaining a constant visual dialogue between the two levels.

À deux pas du parc Monceau, Blondie signe sa deuxième adresse au rez-de-chaussée de l’immeuble Capital 8.
Un lieu de 235 m², traversant, organisé sur deux demi-niveaux, pensé comme une continuité évidente du premier Blondie — entre ouverture urbaine et intériorité maîtrisée.

Une façade habitée, un lien direct avec l’extérieur

Sous plus de six mètres de hauteur, la salle haute s’ouvre largement sur la ville.
La baie vitrée courbe devient une véritable surface active : elle capte la lumière, structure l’espace et redéfinit le rapport au dehors.
Une banquette monumentale épouse cette courbe, accompagne les flux et transforme la façade en lieu d’usage.
Des mange-debout orientés vers l’extérieur prolongent cette dynamique et affirment le café comme un espace ouvert, lisible et vivant, en dialogue permanent avec son environnement urbain.

Un cœur de lieu lisible et identitaire

Le projet s’organise autour d’éléments centraux forts, à la fois fonctionnels et symboliques.
Le comptoir de 7 mètres de long structure la salle haute et s’inscrit dans la continuité visuelle du premier Blondie, adossé à une composition de menuboards rétroéclairés.
Au centre, un îlot banquette végétalisé intègre un totem lumineux Blondie en acier brut vernis.
Repère visuel, point de tension et d’orientation, il articule les circulations, les usages et l’identité de marque au cœur du lieu.

Une continuité harmonieuse entre les deux niveaux

Au niveau inférieur, la salle basse offre une interprétation plus intime du projet, sans jamais perturber la cohérence globale.
La hauteur sous plafond réduite et les fenêtres sur imposte créent une atmosphère plus feutrée, propice à la détente.
Les bancs présentent le même design que dans la pièce supérieure, assurant ainsi une continuité formelle évidente.
Les panneaux muraux en bois, les carreaux bleu clair contrastés et le plafond ponctué de bandes LED encastrées introduisent une variation d'échelle et de matériau, tout en maintenant un dialogue visuel constant entre les deux niveaux.
